Abstract

The present study aimed to reveal the prevailing skills of recalling students of the College of Education at the University of Qassim and to identify the working memory processes and knowledge building among the students of the College of Education at the University of Qassim This study is based on the descriptive method, and the sample of the study was (452) female students from the College of Education, Qassim University. The study has reached several results namely all dimensions of study skills are high among the study sample, all working memory dimensions are high among the study sample, the level of correlation and the total degree of cognitive structure is high among the study sample. The level of differentiation of the cognitive structure in the study sample was average, where there were no statistically significant differences between the mean after differentiation in the sample, and there are positive relations between the dimensions of the skills of recall and the dimensions of working memory processes and dimensions of cognitive structure. There are causal effects between working memory dimensions and recall skills dimensions as independent variables and the cognitive structure dimensions as dependent variables
