This study aims to find out how public-school leaders in Al-Kharj Governorate invest in their teacher's and students' human capital to give their schools a competitive edge. In addition to revealing differences in the responses of the study sample according to these variables (social background, number of years of service, and study stage).
The two researchers have used the descriptive survey approach to achieve the research objectives and process the initial data collected through a questionnaire distributed to the members of the sample that consists of 668 teachers. The study has found several important things, such as: The fact that the headmasters of public schools in Al-Kharj governorate invest in the human capital of teachers and students to gain a competitive edge led to the mean of 3.15 and a standard deviation of 0.964, with the area of quality in the first place, the area of partnership with the community in second place, the area of technical creativity in third place, and the area of quality in fourth place. The study has also shown that there is no significant difference in the area of technical creativity. The study has several suggestions that would help public schools in the Al-Kharj governorate invest more in human capital and work more efficiently. This would improve educational and scientific outcomes and help them reach their goals.
