level of kindergarten teachers’ knowledge of oral language development strategies in Hebron

The study aims to explore the level of kindergarten teachers in oral language development strategies in Hebron Governorate, and the effect of each of the variables (experience, gender, educational qualification), on a sample of (100) teachers, who were chosen randomly. The study has used a multiple-choice test that consists of (20) items, which was translated by (Al-Khawaldeh et al., 2017).
The results of the study have revealed the following: the level of knowledge of kindergarten teachers about oral language development strategies is average. The results also have shown that there are statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of experience, and that there are statistically significant differences in oral language development strategies in favor of the female teachers whose academic qualifications are Bachelor's degree or higher.
The researchers have recommended a number of recommendations.
1- Providing programs and training courses during the service to familiarize kindergarten teachers with strategies for developing oral language
2- Holding training courses that focus on implementing lessons, activities and scientific strategies for developing oral language in kindergarten
3- Conducting future studies dealing with other variables and stages another study, such as the first-grade stage, to compare its results with the results of the current study.
