This research seeks to shed light on one of the scholars who settled in the city of Mukha in the first half of the ninth century AH/15th century AD, Sheikh Ali bin Omar Al-Qurashi Al-Shathily, and his enlightenment role in the city of Mukha, through discussing his ancestry, educational upbringing and travels in many parts of the Islamic world to seek knowledge, as well as through monitoring the most prominent scholars who taught him and whom he accompanied them, and then his stability in the city of Mukha for teaching and establishing Al-Shathily Sufism in Yemen. The social impact of Ali bin Omar Al-Qurashi in that period of the history of Yemen will also be highlighted. The research derived its information from a number of sources and guided by the descriptive historical approach and the analytical method in reading, interpreting the texts of these sources.
