The purpose of this study was to determine how street food and beverage vendors felt about their line of work, including their perceptions and attitudes about it as well as the challenges they encounter. This study's focus on a manual profession that has recently become more prevalent despite society's unfavorable image of these vocations emphasizes how important it is. Additionally, since the study's subject is connected to self-employment, which has drawn the attention of politicians and economists everywhere due to its potential to help solve numerous issues that States and society face. The five participants who were randomly chosen as an ad hoc sample for this study were interviewed as part of the ethnographic methodology using the participatory observation and observation instrument. The study discovered, among other reasons, that job stability, the scarcity of government positions, and the community's favorable perception of street food and beverage vans were among the factors contributing to the emergence of a culture of street food and beverage vendors. However, two of the biggest challenges faced by street food and beverage vendors were the inability to communicate with family, friends, and relatives, as well as the minimal impact of education on young people's self-employment.Downloads
