Abstract

The study aimed to identify the patterns of brain control prevalent among student teachers majoring in science at Qassim University, and knowing the degree to which student teachers at Qassim University are able to teach science skills. The researcher used the descriptive survey method. (36) of the student teachers were chosen randomly, and to answer the study questions, the researcher prepared two tools, namely: a measure of brain control, and a class observation card, and after verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to the sample, and to analyze the data, the researcher used arithmetic means, standard deviations, and ratios equilibrium, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Holsty's equation. The study concluded that the dominant style among student teachers in the science track is the left style at a rate of (75%), followed by the right style at a rate of (16.7%), and then the integrated style at a rate of (8.3%). The study also concluded that brain control has a role in Choosing the skills of teaching science among student teachers. The study also presented a set of recommendations and proposals.
