The role of cognitive dominance and its relationship with personality traits among the leadership of Qassim University according to certain demographic variables

Abstract

I aimed the study aimed to determine the dominant pattern of cerebral dominance among the leaders of Qassim University them to get to know on Their personality traits, and the significance and direction of the correlation between each of these two variables are known. To achieve the previous objectives, the descriptive, correlational approach was used, and both the Hermann Brain Dominance Scale, codified by Al-Huzaimi, and the modified Eysenck Personality Scale, codified in the Saudi environment, were adopted as tools for the study. Both scales were applied to the study sample, which numbered (124) individuals from the leadership at Qassim University. Of both sexes. And The study reached the following results: The dominant style among members of the study sample of Qassim University leaders is the style (B) where he obtained the highest arithmetic mean of (1.825), and the personality trait that dominates the members of the study sample From leaders Al Qussaim university It is the (extrovert) type, with a mean of (1.590).asThe study found that there is no Statistically significant differences in both cerebral dominance pat terns and traits Personal I have Leaders of Qassim University according to the variables of gender and career level, And not There is a statistically significant correlation between each of the (patternA, Type B) of cerebral dominance patterns and personality traits, and the existence of a statistically significant correlation between the patterns(C)Of the patterns of cerebral dominance and the personality trait (extroversion), and the existence of a statistically significant correlation between the pattern(D)Of the patterns of cerebral dominance and the personality traits in each trait (psychotic, And extrovert, And the neurotic, And the liar).
