Abstract

This research aims to clarify the objectives of dialogue in Sharia through texts without burdening the texts with what is intolerable or ignoring what deserves to be explained, The main problem is what are the legal objectives achieved by dialogue with others. The researcher used the applied inductive and analytical approach, He derived the legal objectives from the legal texts and cited the sayings of the scholars, then applied these objectives in the dialogue of the Prophet of God Ebrahim, Peace be upon him, in the Holy Qur’an with his father, son, his people, and Namrod, He reached several conclusions: The most prominent goals of dialogue in Islamic law are: reaching the truth, establishing the argument for people, calling to God Almighty, repelling falsehood, coexistence and not clashing with others, and achieving gains that serve the call, religion, and the Muslim, these purposes in dialogue appeared in the dialogue of the Prophet of God, Ebrahim, peace be upon him, with his father, his son, his people, and Namrod.
