Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the role of the family in promoting intellectual security, Children have their own views on devotional and doctrinal aspects from the point of view of high school students in Riyad،And the role of the family in enhancing the intellectual security of children in the moral aspects in light of the digital age from the perspective of parents of high school students in the city of Riyadh, And the role of the family in developing the intellectual security of children and revealing the extent of the family's mechanisms in confronting the dangers of the digital age on the intellectual security of its children؛ To achieve this, a questionnaire consisting of (25) statements distributed in three axes was designed, after ensuring its validity and reliability according to the procedures followed to ensure the validity and reliability of the tool, by following the descriptive analytical approach with its survey approach, to collect data from the study sample of (120) individuals from the parents of high school students in Riyadh city، Chosen in a stratified random manner, the results showed that the reality of the role of the family in enhancing the intellectual security of children in the religious and worship aspects from the perspective of high school students' parents in Riyadh was very high, with the mean (total) of parents' responses on the axis of the reality of the role of the family in enhancing the intellectual security of children in the religious and worship aspects being (4.39) and the standard deviation being (0.87), The reality of the role of the family in enhancing the intellectual security of children in the moral aspects in light of the digital age from the perspective of parents of high school students in Riyadh is very high, where the total mean of the responses of parents of high school students in Riyadh on the axis of the reality of the role of the family in enhancing the intellectual security of children in the moral aspects in light of the digital age was (4.26) with a standard deviation of (0.90)، While the level of family mechanisms in facing the dangers of the digital age on the intellectual security of their children was moderate, as the average (total) of the responses of parents of high school students in Riyadh on the axis of the degree of family mechanisms in facing the risks of the digital age on the intellectual security of their children was (2.58) with a standard deviation of (0.85). The study presented some suggestions and recommendations based on its results.
