The Phenomenological Approach in Theology: Al Biruni as a Model

Abstract

     This study aims at with investigating the contributions of Abu al-Rayhan al-Biruni in establishing comparative Theology. The study aims at explaining the approaches of theology. It aims to highlight the prominent impact of this Muslim scholar in developing a scientific method based on scientific foundations represented by reliance on direct observation and watching, which is known today as phenomenology in order to show the aspects of Islamic civilization over Western civilization to which this science is falsely attributed.
