Textual Editing in the Balance of Phenomenon of Choice A Descriptive Analytical Comparative Study

Abstract

All praise is due to Allah, and peace be upon His chosen servant: This scientific research addresses topics that have long engaged specialists in this art while the beginners were afraid of it. These are the issues of editing according to Shatibiyyah and publication and its goodness. Editing in its modern sense is the work of distinguishing the narrations individually from their correct ways, and not mixing narrations is the main work of the editors. The study was based on examining the issues of the science of editing and highlighting its origins, on making comparisons between the curricula of the predecessors and the curricula of the scholars of editors in its modern sense, from several aspects, Such as making a comparison between the phenomenon of selection and the ABCs of the science of editing, comparison between the meaning of choosing the readings and the meaning of a composition of reading as well as drawing a comparison between the reasons for preventing the predecessors the reading and the reasons for preventing the Editorial people. and making a comparison between the ancient acceptance of the additions to the poetry, then departure from the path and opposition of the imams of editing, and he making a comparison between the rulings of the jurists on the composition of the readings in the ancient and the modern, then I concluded with the impact of the science of editing on the sciences of Quranic readings. The study investigated the time of origin of the science of editing, the reasons for its emergence, and the origin of consideration in it. It also addressed the reasons for the differences in the rulings of editors and the confusion of their methods. The study presented everything that clarifies the truth of the science of editing and reveals its circumstances, through an investigation related to its issues.
