Abstract

The greatest knowledge is knowledge of God Almighty, of His names, attributes, actions, and effects on His creation. One of the means of knowledge of God Almighty is studying and understanding what God Almighty told us about Himself in the Qur’an, of His names, attributes, and actions, and what His Messenger Muhammad told us.On the authority of God Almighty, and this includes mentioning the attributes of God Almighty in the form of a superlative noun, and this has been mentioned in many places in the Qur’an and Sunnah. This research Means B: Study what is mentioned in the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah regarding the formula of the noun of preference in the divine attributes, and its doctrinal connotations, through which the meaning of the noun of preference in the divine attributes becomes clear according to the linguistic rules based on the doctrine of the Sunnis and the community. The research objectives are summarized as follows: 1- Explaining the forms of the superlative noun in the divine attributes. 2- Explaining the doctrinal connotations of the preferential name related to the divine attributes.
