Abstract

The study aimed: to reveal the reality of including fractal geometry in the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Develop a proposed scenario to include fractal geometry in the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study used the descriptive approach based on content analysis, representing the study community in the student’s book for the mathematics course for the third intermediate grade in its first and second semesters for the year (1443 AH/2021 AD), and the study tool was represented in the content analysis card to include fractal geometry in the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The study concluded that: The reality of including the fractal geometry of the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade of the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade (implicitly) was (29,13%), the first semester (26.03%) and the second semester (31.72%) in Tests, examples, activities and exercises, and the order of the chapters came to the reality of including fractal geometry from the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade (implicitly): (sixth-ninth-second-third-tenth-fifth-eighth-seventh-first-fourth), and the study recommended the necessity of applying the proposed vision And the inclusion of the mathematics curriculum for the third intermediate grade with the previous subjects (represented by Sperinsky - Koch curve - Cantor set - and the Pythagorean tree). The study suggested conducting similar studies on mathematics courses for the first and second intermediate grades, for the first, second and third secondary.
