Abstract

This research seeks to shed light on the issue of natural disasters in Yemen from the beginning of the 9th century AH/15AD until the fall of the Rasulid state in the year 858AH/1453AD, which struck many regions and cities of Yemen from time to time, and had a profound impact on the population in various social and economic aspects. Urbanism and demographics, and even had psychological and moral effects on society. The research derived its scientific material mainly from historical literature, class books, and biographies, especially those that lived through the period studied, guided by the descriptive historical approach and the analytical approach in constructing the research.
