The degree of practicing of general education schools' leaders in Educational Asir Region to the dimensions of ethical leadership and its relationship to administrative creativity from the teachers' point of view

Abstract

The research aims to identify the degree of practicing of general education schools' leaders in the Educational Asir Region to the dimensions of ethical leadership, the degree of achieving administrative creativity from the viewpoint of teachers, the relationship between ethical leadership and administrative creativity, and whether there are statistically significant differences according to the variables: the educational stage, and the number of service years. The descriptive approach was used to suit the nature of the research.

    The research sample consisted of (365) teachers in the second semester of the academic year 40/1441 AH, and they were chosen randomly, at a rate of (5%) from the research population which was (8080) teachers. The results showed that the average degree of practicing  general education schools' leaders in the Educational Asir Region for the dimensions of ethical leadership was achieved with a high degree and with an average of (3.50) and a rate of (70.02%) from the total degree of practice, and that administrative creativity was achieved with a moderate degree, and with average of (3.35) and a rate of (66.95%) from the total degree for verification, and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average degree of practicing  general education schools' leaders in the Educational Asir Region for the dimensions of ethical leadership and the average of administrative creativity verification according to the variable of the educational stage and in favor of the higher educational stage and in the variable of the number of service years and in favor of The more number of service years, and the results also showed there was a positive correlation with statistically significant at the level (0.05) between the average degree of practicing the dimensions ethical leadership and the average degree of achieving administrative creativity, and the two researchers recommend increasing acquisition the general education schools' leaders to the basic concepts of ethical leadership, and how they are represented in The reality of school work, and in dealing with teachers, students, educational administration and students' parents.
