Problematic Issues in Understanding the Quran Viewed by Ibn Arafa in His Interpretation

Abstract

     Sometimes the reader of the Holy Quran may find difficulty to grasp the meaning. This may mislead the reader to clearly understand the Holy Quran. As a result of this, this study sheds light on the approach of the scholar of the problematic issues of the Holy Quran and clarifies them. This scholar is Imam Mohammed Ibn Arafa Alwarghami in his interpretation. This study includes an introduction, a brief biography of Ibn Arafa and the defining his interpretation, and defining of the problematic issues in understanding the Quran and the approach of Ibn Arafa in it. The second chapter is a study of some applied applications of the problematic issues in understanding the Holy Quran, its interpretation, then a conclusion that includes the most important findings drawn, the most prominent of which is that the problem of most interest to him is the supposed contradiction. The study relies on the descriptive and analytical approach in the translation of Imam Ibn Arafa and introducing his book and introducing the problematic issues in understanding the Qur’an, and the applied analytical approach in studying models of its applications in repelling the ambiguities about the verses, then the deductive descriptive approach in mentioning it in resisting the ambiguities caused by misunderstanding of the readers.
