A Proposed Strategy to Educate Saudi Women about the System of Combating Information Crimes in Saudi Society: A Descriptive and Applied Study on a Sample of Women in Ryiadh

The study aims to come up with a proposed strategy to educate Saudi women about the system of combating information crimes by identifying their level of awareness of the types of information crimes that they may be exposed to and their awareness of the system of combating those crimes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the study aims at exploring their views on the strategy of combating. The study has followed the social survey approach on a random sample of Saudi women that includes 449 Saudi women. The study has concluded that there is a high awareness among Saudi women of the different types of information crimes that they may be exposed to. They have awareness of criminal penalties according to the Saudi system of combating information crimes, in addition to the high support for different strategies which increase Saudi women's awareness of the system of combating information crimes that they may be exposed to. The study has come out with a set of recommendations addressing the Saudi women as self-prevention for not being subjected to this type of crime. The recommendations have addressed the civil societies specialized in the field of women in order to have a role in this awareness. Moreover, set of suggested recommendations have been given to the various official instiutions including: The ministry of communications, interior and education to increase Saudi women's awareness of combating information crimes.Downloads
